Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a dedicated Billing Clerk with one of our Clackamas based clients. In this role, you'll be an integral part of the team, assisting with customer account management, answering questions, and processing bill pays.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handling customer inquiries and issues

• Assisting Customer Service Representatives in managing customer accounts

• Handling incoming phone calls from customers

• Processing payments and managing cash drawer reconciliation

• Conducting light collections calls as necessary

• Ensuring accurate posting of transactions

• Assisting with mail processing tasks

• Utilizing computerized billing systems for account management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in Account Management, Customer Service, or Billing/Collections

• Experience in answering inbound calls and providing customer service

• Knowledge of payment processing procedures

• Ability to manage mail processing tasks

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
