Job Description
This is a remote/home based role, which must have someone physically located within the New York City/New Jersey areas or the Boston area.
Key Accountabilities:
On-site enrollment/education services 80%
Working with intermediaries to schedule and conduct effect enrollment/education meetings (in both English and Spanish (if applicable) that communicate retirement plan and investment concepts as appropriate to meet the employee/participant and plan sponsor needs
Respond to questions/concerns regarding John Hancock investments, products and the use of 401(k) retirement savings programs
Assist plan sponsors and intermediaries who wish to conduct on-site enrollment meetings to ensure that John Hancock is appropriately represented and that enrollment tools are used effectively
Work closely with intermediaries and plan sponsors to grow assets under management through effective employee education and enrollment initiatives
Coordinate the delivery of materials (as determine vital) for use in on-site enrollment/education meetings
Participation in virtual enrollment/education meeting delivery 20%
Facilitate and deliver remote presentations including group enrollment/education meetings and the ordering of materials as required
Support delivery of website demonstrations for internal and external partners
Job Requirements:
College degree (or equivalent work experience in education or the pension and/or defined contribution sector)
Two to three years of similar experience within related role and industry
Life insurance and variable license as determined for territory coverage
NASD Series 6 and 63 within 6 months of hire
Industry designations such as APA, APR ChFC etc. a plus
Spanish bilingual language skills are required
