About Bilingual Customer Service Representative

  Description

  Leidos is currently seeking Bilingual FHA Customer Service Representatives to support the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Office of Single Family Housing in their Mission to create strong, sustainable, inclusive communities and quality affordable homes for all.

  In this role, you will utilize a knowledge base and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to respond to phone calls and emails while ensuring excellent customer service. This is a great opportunity to gain knowledge of FHA Housing Administration (FHA) mortgage programs while assisting homebuyers, homeowners, and mortgage servicers with various home buying and loan servicing requests. Our Call Center is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico and is open from 6 am to 6 pm Mountain Time Monday through Friday. We are currently hiring for the shift from 9:30 am - 6:00 pm MT.

  Primary Job Responsibilities:

  Reply to calls and emails from the public on housing and FHA mortgages. Utilize knowledge base and follow Standard Operating procedures (SOPs) to answer customer requests.Deliver excellent customer service in a high-volume call center, including responding to customer complaints.Document all customer phone and email communications within internal database.

  Required Qualifications:

  Bilingual / fully fluent in English and Spanish (both written and verbal)High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificateMinimum of 2 years of customer service, contact center or call center experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsMicrosoft Office (Outlook, Word, Teams)Ability to navigate content management system and relevant websites to obtain informationKeyboarding proficiency of at least 40 words per minuteAbility to successfully obtain a Public Trust Security clearance, which includes a credit check and background investigation

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Call Center (Omnichannel) background a plus

  This position pays $18 per hour.

  * This position is covered under the Service Contract Act and is subject to minimum wage demands as well as the minimum Health and Welfare benefit. Leidos ensure that all provisions are met through their wages and benefits.
