About Bilingual Control Room Security Operator

  Job Description

  Communicate and liaise with client staff, visitors, and contractors across the country to provide after-hours support with various operational issues.

  Inbound/Outbound calls to handle inquiries, provide resolutions via escalations to the client.

  Perform active monitoring of various security systems, including CCTV, intercom, and access control.

  Provide remote client support and answer telephone calls and intercoms professionally.

  Conduct virtual (monitoring) and physical security patrols of assigned facilities.

  Prompt and accurate data entry through various applications.

  Completing daily briefing, as well as, writing and being able to understand incident reports.

  Job Qualifications

  Must be available to work a rotating schedule

  Must be Bilingual (English and French).

  Must have a valid Ontario Guard License

  Must have access to a vehicle (public transit not available).

  A decent aptitude with computers is an asset.

  Ability to work under pressure.

  We are a 24/7/365 operation, and our shifts reflect that.

  Frequent sitting, and computer use, which may be required for long periods of time.

  Individuals with call centre and/or Security experience are preferred along with customer service skills.
