Summary/Objective:

　　The bend associate position operates machines to fabricate parts. Loads parts in the machine, cycle machine and detects malfunctions in machine operations. The position runs production lots, communicate with co-workers regarding production runs, and maintains a safe, organized and clean work environment.

　　Essential Functions:

　　Performs all assigned machine operationsRead job specifications such as blueprints, calipers, and measurements to determine machine adjustments and material requirementsDetermine the appropriate equipment and methods based on requirementsSet up, adjust and operate machinery and equipment to fabricate parts to specificationsMaintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safetyEnsure work is done safely, consistently and meets quality standardsObserves machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunctionsCheck parts to drawing specifications and tolerance using proper measurement and inspection equipment to determine accuracy of machine operationInspect end product from fabrication operations to ensure accuracy and discover flawsIdentify, tag and remove non-conforming materialsAccurately complete all required paperwork in a timely mannerCommunicate with other departments as necessaryKeep work areas clean and organizedAdhere to all company rules and policiesPerforms other related duties as assigned by supervisor
