Ignace Indian Health Centeris recruiting for a full-time licensed behavioral health professionalwith solid experience in working with adolescents and adults whoexperience co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders.This position is a non-supervisory position that will provide directtherapy services through individual, group, couple and family therapymodalities. We are looking for a passionate, caring, creative,trauma-informed clinician that utilizes a wide range of therapeuticinterventions within their treatment practice. The position requiresstrong crisis assessment and management skills, skilled experienceworking with trauma, and the ability to work within a multidisciplinarytreatment team to provide culturally appropriate approaches to treatmentfor the Urban Native American community as well as the diverse communitysurrounding. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsiblefor providing psychotherapy services for trauma, mental health and/orsubstance abuse services for adults and adolescents within theAll-Nations Wellness Center Adult and Adolescent Therapy Clinic.Modalities of treatment include individual, group, couple and/or familytherapy. Responsible for operations within the Department to ensureservices are provided in a manner that meets all applicable regulatorylicensure and accrediting regulations. Responsible for completing mentalhealth assessments and treatment planning. Responsible for assessingclient safety and risk to self or others and taking appropriate crisisintervention measures when indicated. Participates in multi-disciplinaryclinical staffing meetings and case consultation meetings with the ANWCBehavioral Health Treatment team. Participates in half-day weekly crisistriage with the medical clinic. Consults and refers adults andadolescents for psychological testing. Coordinates with families,community service providers, DV/SA advocates, and case management tomaintain continuity of care. Facilitates psychotherapy groups forsurvivors of domestic and sexual violence. Participates in the therapistafter-hours on-call rotational schedules.
