This allows us to take a comprehensive, holistic approach to improving the lives of every person we serve - those who receive and those who reap the benefits of our innovative, responsive solutions.Job Description: It is the responsibility of the Behavioral Consultant (BC-ABA) to provide one-to-one behavioral intervention services to teach communication and social skills and reduce maladaptive behaviors in the home, community, and/or school setting. BC-ABAs will utilize interventions developed from the science of Applied Behavior Analysis.Schedule: Full TimeLocation: Wyomissing, PAProgram: IBHS (Intensive Behavioral Health Services)Pay Rate: $35+/hourJob Functions:Implement clinical service delivery goals consistent with overall agency goals and policy/proceduresUse Word, Excel, UltiPro Time & Attendance, Electronic Health Record and Outlook effectivelyReport to direct supervisor, and other administrative staff as required, in a timely and comprehensive mannerProvide services as defined by the program description, and best practice standards, and in full compliance with licensure standardsFollows the treatment plan goals and interventions utilizing sound judgment, including the use of positive reinforcementProvide quality mobile services in line with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) standardsMaintain quality documentation of clinical ABA service deliveryEstablish and maintain professional relationships with consumers, their families, payers, community support service representatives, co-workers, and other agenciesEstablish and maintain therapeutic relationships by pairing the self as a reinforcing entity and building the value of social interaction between the client and the BHT-ABAEducate all those involved about the role of ABA-based interventions and functions within the boundaries of the BHT-ABA rolePrompt safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors in order to build a repertoire of communication, social interaction, and problem-solving skillsCollaborate with family and treatment team members to provide treatment effectively and without the disruption to the environmentProvide all authorized client services and provide supporting documentation for re-authorizations, as necessary, promptlySubmit accurate and timely payroll and billing documentationImplement interventions effectively based on the treatment plan and behavior management plan as developed by the Behavior Consultant and/or Board-Certified Behavior AnalystProvide crisis intervention to clients, when indicated, to stabilize acute crisesIncreases the frequency or duration of safe and appropriate replacement behaviors by providing access to known reinforcersComplete accurate and timely clinical documentation, including but not limited to progress notesAccurately collects behavior data, including but not limited to ABC data and frequency dataComplete all training requirements as dictated by the state before working alone with clientsComplete all required periodic training as dictated by the state during the first six months and annually thereafterComplete all personally required training as per the Professional Development PlanSubmit to Human Resources, on time, copies of all required documentation regarding degrees, licenses, certifications, clearances, and formal trainingMinimum Requirements:Education: Master's degree in psychology, social work, education, or counseling from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council of Higher Education Accreditation or an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university that has been evaluated by the Association of International C edential Evaluators, Inc. or the National Association of Credential Evaluation ServicesExperience:  One year of full-time experience in providing mental health services to children, youth, or young adultsLicensure/Certification: BC-ABA License RequiredClearances:  Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance, Criminal clearance, and fingerprint-based federal criminal history; Verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list

  Note: At the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and/or education may be substituted in place of the requirements specified under Education and Experience.Compensation Package: Chimes-Holcomb offers a generous benefits package to all employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week. Benefits are available on the first day of a new month after completing 30 days of employment. Health insurance, including a flexible spending account, medical, dental, and vision are included. Paid holidays in addition to earned paid time off, 403(B) with company match, and 1-year salary of life insurance are available as well. Some benefits are available to employees working between 25-29 hours per week. Eligible employees can choose to participate in our transportation subsidy program, disability insurance, employee recognition programs, and referral bonuses.
