　　We're hiring for: In the pursuit of our mission, we are hiring a Student Support Assistant for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at Beekman. This position provides essential support to Special Education teachers, focused on providing services to much deserving individual students.

　　An Associate's degreeProof of passing the WorkKeys Assessment in reading, writing, and mathProof of passing the ETS Parapro AssessmentProof of completion of 60 credit hoursCommitment to Lansing School District's mission and visionRecommended:

　　A track record of success working with students with special education needs (especially ASD students)A track record of perfect attendance and punctualityPrevious training in CPI, blood borne diseases, Epi-pen and DiastatPrevious experience working with students from diverse backgrounds that are different from your own

　　You will:

　　Assist ASD designated students with daily tasks, ensuring a safe and enjoyable school dayActively assist teachers at Beekman with facilitating and maintaining a safe and productive classroom environmentTo maintain a safe environment staff members must be alert at all timesLog updates in the student data systemOther tasks as needed to ensure the safety of students at Beekman
