Job Description
Woodward Resource Center (WRC) is seeking a Psychologist 2 (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) to join our team. This is a full-time opportunity with starting pay dependent upon experience.
The mission of Woodward Resource Center is to prepare and support individuals to live in the community of their choice. Discharge planning begins at admission.
As part of the WRC team:
Provide assessment, e.g., visiting and/or observing individuals as necessary; review records; conducting and/or coordinating the completion of informal, direct, and functional assessments including interviews, observations, and functional analyses; preference assessments, diagnostic and adaptive screenings, and quality of life measures.
Develop BSPs and linked skill development programs which are 1) in accordance with Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF-ID) regulations
Advocate for, and educate the IDT about, scientifically supported, effective behavioral treatment procedures in response to the needs of individual residents.
Provide competency-based training to staff on behavioral programming, and other topics as necessary. Monitor BSP implementation for compliance and integrity.
Providing individual and group discussion sessions/mentoring, as assigned. Write behavioral reports, including Individual Service Plan (ISP) reports. Regularly attend interdisciplinary team meetings, ISP meetings, staff meetings, psychiatric consultations, medication reviews, clinical peer review meetings, and psychology department meetings.
Other duties as assigned
Designated positions at Woodward Resource Centers require certification with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst or require such certification within a period of time after hire as determined by the appointing authority.
Designated positions may require licensure by the Iowa Board of Psychology Examiners, as determined by the appointing authority.

Minimum Qualification Requirements
Applicants must meet at least one of the following minimum requirements to qualify for positions in this job classification:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a doctorate degree in psychology, behavior analysis, or counseling.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in psychology, behavior analysis, social work, or counseling, and experience equal to two years of full-time clinical work in the provision of counseling and therapy in an institutional or community mental health, intellectual disability, long-term care, or correctional program.
Possession of a license to practice psychology from the Iowa Board of Psychology.
Current, continuous experience in the state executive branch that includes twelve months of full-time work as a Psychologist 1.
