The Renaissance Cleveland Hotel is transforming to Hotel Cleveland, an Autograph Collection by Marriott. This historic hotel is a hub where stories unfold and connections are made, mirroring the city’s relentless spirit and welcoming heart. The property is currently undergoing a 90 million dollar renovation and will debut in Spring 2024. We are seeking a skilled, passionate, and innovative Luxury Bartender to join our team. As a Luxury Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional cocktails and providing an unparalleled beverage experience to our esteemed clientele. Your passion for mixology and dedication to delivering high-quality service will elevate our bar program and set new standards in luxury hospitality. Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

Extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, and mixology techniques

Proven experience as a Mixologist in a luxury bar or high-end hospitality setting

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Proactively visit with and interact with guests; build loyalty and face/name recognition

Ability to work in a fast-paced bar environment and multitask effectively

Flexible schedule to accommodate varying bar hours, including evenings and weekends

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cocktail Creation : Craft a variety of cocktails with precision and creativity, showcasing your mixology expertise

Demonstrate a deep knowledge of mixology techniques, including muddling, shaking, stirring, infusing, and garnishing to perfection, resulting in visually appealing and flavorful drinks

Customer Engagement : Interact with customers, offering recommendations and ensuring a positive bar experience

Offer personalized beverage recommendations and engage with guests to ensure an extraordinary bar experience, anticipating their needs, and surpassing their expectations

Ingredient Knowledge : Stay informed about different spirits, wines, and ingredients, providing insights to customers

Bar Presentation : Maintain a clean and organized bar area, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal

Collaboration : Work closely with other bar staff to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service

REQUIREMENTS:

Previous experience as a Mixologist or in a similar role with at least 2 years experience

Extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, and mixology techniques

Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced bar environment and multitask effectively

Flexible schedule to accommodate varying bar hours, including evenings and weekends. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with guests and team members effectively

Strong organizational skills to maintain a well-stocked and organized bar station

Passion for staying up to date with industry trends and continuously improving mixology skills

Physical Demands and Work Environment: Standing in a stationary position for several hours within the day. Ability to carry food and drinks to a table
