　　Job Description:

　　Operates system that conveys rice product from storage bins to barges. Drafts and moves barge so product can be loaded.

　　Job Duties

　　Ability to work on water.

　　Knowledge of a barge (e.g. different parts and how to load).

　　Ability to work in extreme variations of outside temperatures and weather conditions.

　　Knowledge of all required paperwork.

　　Knowledge of all conveying system as it relates to barge loading.

　　Perform light maintenance work and a variety of sanitation duties daily.

　　Responsible for complying with all safety rules, procedures and good manufacturing practices set forth by company.

　　Performs daily inspections of equipment, notifies management of need for repairs.

　　Recommend and implement process improvements as approved.

　　Consult with supervisor as needed.

　　Work within a team environment.

　　Complete SA logs as required.

　　Greet and communicate with visitors and represent the company in a professional manner.

　　Ability to work with numbers for draft purposes.

　　Be able to communicate with Harbor Service as needed.

　　Any other duties related and needed by the company.

　　Safety sensitive position.

　　Education Requirements

　　High school diploma or GED plus specialized training and/or additional college courses and two years of related experience and/or training; and a minimum of 1-6 months of experience.
