Description

　　Reputable, financial services firm seeks a Banking Portfolio Accounting Manager with proven expertise handling banking operations, ACH, wire transfers and interchange. This role will involve, overseeing general ledger transactions, account reconciliations, preparing income statements and balance sheets, managing portfolio performance, leading a team of accounting professionals, managing the month close process, coordinating annual audits, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and interface with regulatory agencies as necessary. The ideal Banking Portfolio Accounting Manager for this role should have excellent analytical skills, great research abilities, and in-depth knowledge of industry trends and compliance updates.

　　Primary Responsibilities

　　· General Ledger Management

　　· Income Statements/Balance Sheets

　　· Account Reconciliation

　　· Portfolio Management

　　· Prepare fund accounting financial statements/reports

　　· Assist with the annual audit process

　　· Supervise reconciliation of investment portfolios

　　· Gather treasury filings as needed

　　· Maintain strong client relationships

　　· Risk Management

　　Requirements

　　The ideal Banking Portfolio Accounting Manager will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or related studies.

　　Other requirements for the Banking Portfolio Accounting Manager role include and are not limited to:

　　· 5+ years experience of financial banking operations

　　· Supervision experience required

　　· Strong Microsoft Excel skills (V-Lookups/Formulas)

　　· Excellent presentation and communication skills
