　　Accountable for operating bakery-pastry machinery and its associated down-stream equipment. The Bakery Machine Operator will monitor and control the continuous flow of product thru the production process, from mixing ingredients to oven baking to product packaging. The Machine Operator will adjust control panel settings as needed. Collaborate with the team members, maintenance, and supervisor to maintain a safe work environment and adhering to Crown Bakeries GMPs and established procedures.

　　Qualifications:

　　Have received a High School Diploma or Equivalent.

　　Flexible on work schedule including start times and weekend work.

　　Exceptional reading, written, and mathematical skills.

　　Willing to acquire a wide variety of skills to assist the surrounding team and fully understand the processes.

　　Patience is necessary to maintain and facilitate a series of continuous events.

　　Must be able to problem solve, learn on the fly, process and technical learning.

　　Must be able to work in a team environment as well as work independently.

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Preferred experience in food manufacturing setting.

　　Knowledge of baking processes, equipment, and terminology is desired

　　Physical Demands:

　　Manually lift, pour, and guide large amounts of ingredients.

　　Work in a noisy environment for length of shift.

　　Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.

　　Reach above shoulder height.

　　Ability to bend, twist, stand, arrange, climb stairs/ladders, push/pull, and walk for length of shift.

　　Responsibilities

　　Responsibilities:

　　Operate assigned machinery in a safe and efficient manner.

　　Equipment may include Oven systems, Mixer Equipment, and Bagging Machines.

　　Maintains and adjusts freezer-retard temperature and sets timer to required setting.

　　Monitors the process to ensure continued bakery product process flow through conveyor systems.

　　Will operate various PLC panels to control proper flow of product.

　　Troubleshoots process and makes speed adjustments.

　　Document weight, product yield, downtime and additional metrics.

　　Collaborates with the in-line Mixer to ensure continued product flow.

　　Adjusts ensuring product standards, specifications, and customer requirements are met.

　　Food Safety Responsibilities:

　　Follow all GMP's, Food Defense and quality policies

　　Ensures all GMP and all food hygiene and safety standards are in compliance

　　Report all food safety incidents such as GMP violations, ingredient and product contamination, metal detector, screen or magnet deviancies', glass breakage, and pest harborage

　　The essential functions of this role include:
