　　This position is for a talented and passionate software engineer to join the CVSHealth IT team, working on API and Data Streaming based platform. You'll be working on the entire application life cycle, from design and development to maintenance/monitoring and scaling, with primary focus on development phase. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our product and directly influence its success.

　　Responsibilities

　　Design, develop, and maintain an application that focuses on modern REST APIs/micro-services, as well as Kafka Data Streaming.

　　Write clean, efficient, well-structured, documented code.

　　Automation of team/application processes.

　　Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure application quality.

　　Monitor application performance and implement improvements for scalability and reliability

　　Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Quality Assurance, Performance Testing, Infrastructure) as well as up/downstream consumers.

　　Proactively address technical issues and identify opportunities for optimization.

　　Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies

　　Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.

　　Required Qualifications:

　　10+ years of IT Experience and building web applications

　　7+ years of experience with multiple of the following programming languages: C#/.NET experience (CORE 6+), Java, Linux Shell Scripting

　　7+ years of experience with multiple of the following: REST APIs, Containers and container systems (Kubernetes, Docker, Nexus), Topics/Queues (Kafka), Redis (object caching)

　　Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

　　Well organized

　　Strong communication and collaboration abilities

　　Passionate and skilled at building high quality software using modern software technologies.

　　Curious and explorative mindset.

　　Ability to work independently and manage projects effectively

　　Deep understanding of RESTful API design principals and best practices

　　7+ years of experience with version control (eg git) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Github Actions)

　　Knowledge of software testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines

　　Application Architecture Design & Development

　　7+ years of experience with the following: nTier Design Patterns , Service Orchestration , Performance Tuning and Optimization , API Security (Oauth/JWT) and identity management , and API Observability, metrics, tracing, etc…

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Experience with agile development methodologies

　　Education:

　　Bachelors' degree in computer science, engineering, or related field. Pay Range

　　The typical pay range for this role is:

　　$97,335.00 - $201,900.00

　　This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
