Mindex’s SchoolTool division is our K-12 student management system (SMS) for New York State school districts, built from the ground up. Our team is involved in the full lifecycle of this product, including sales, training, support, and maintenance.
We seek an AWS Project Manager to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities
Acts as a single point of client contact and escalation. Accountable for project scoping, planning, and delivery across a portfolio of projects.
Understands and drives project team alignment with the client’s mission, vision, and business value as defined by client stakeholders.
Builds relationships with internal project teams and client stakeholders to deliver an uncompromising client experience. Plots and measures the health, status, and performance of client engagements, unblocking obstacles when present.
Facilitates communication and collaboration inside of, and outside of, the team.
Works with team members to ensure successful sprint execution through the use of best practices, inspection, and adaptation.
Works with project team members to remove impediments, facilitate standard scrum ceremonies, and ensure that all ceremonies are positive and productive for the team.
Requirements
AS or BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related areas preferred, but not required
At least three years of experience with Cloud migrations and/or cloud managed services
Strong project management skills and experience with multiple types of project styles (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
Familiarity with Cloud computing concepts and experience working with AWS or Microsoft Azure Cloud platforms
Strong analysis, critical-thinking capabilities, and problem-solving skills
Strong focus on exceptional client service
Strong skills in managing multiple projects with ability to prioritize, organize, and maintain details
Aptitude and desire to work in a highly collaborative, self-organizing, team environment

The band range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, education, experience, training, certifications, internal equity, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at, or near, the top of the range for their role; and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range for this role is $90,000 - $140,000.
