The Project: The Health and Risk Management (HRM) is an analytics tool providing the Transmission Business Unit with a combination of on-prem, external and client's account AWS-hosted data feeds to analytic vendor C3.AI's GCP solution (formally also on AWS). This solution provides Predictive Maintenance for Transmission Assets. The C3.AI Analytics Platform is SaaS with a web-based user GUI. The initial 2018-2022 project created Informatica ETL modules to transfer the source data to a legacy on-prem information hub (called Information Management Architecture or "IMA") and then to pull the data from the IMA hub and send it to the vendor for analysis. There is also an interface to allow the Transmission department to return the model's results for separate analysis outside of the C3.AI tool. In 2023, HRM underwent several enhancements, including the first-of-kind replatform of a new interface to the Data Fabric, thus moving away from the IMA and Informatica integration platform. In 2024, HRM will undergo additional enhancements and will concurrently continue to build onto the Data Fabric using modern AWS cloud technologies as we roll out our cloud strategy.
