Your Role: What you'll be doingAs an Avionics Components Guidance, Navigation and Control (GN&C)engineer on the Vulcan Development team, you will be responsible for therequirements, design, development, and vendor management of new GN&Ccomponents for ULA launch vehicles.
This engineering position will work on programs for Reuse, UpperstageResiliency, and next-generation avionics development. Components may includeStar Tracker, Sun Sensors, High-Performance Gyros and Accelerometers.Responsibilities may include:Executing trade studies for new guidance system capabilities and componentneedsDeveloping GN&C component requirementsSelecting, working, and managing suppliers on component developmentDeveloping test requirements and sequencesSupporting qualification testing and performing hardware/software integrationDevelop schedules and execution plans alongside vendorsSupport PDRs, CDRs, and other gate reviewsManage multiple development and test programs simultaneouslyWe are looking for team members passionate about the space industry, whoenjoy solving complex problems and can work effectively in a fast-pacedenvironment.
Your Background: What education and experience you'll needRequires a bachelor's degree and 2 - 6 years of experience.

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical fields from anaccredited college or university is required.Experience with Aerospace GN&C systems and concepts (inertial navigationsystems, GPS tracking systems, Kalman filters)Experience reviewing engineering drawings, parts lists, thermalanalysis, test procedures, SOWs, engineering estimates, and schematics.Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, coordination, and presentationskills.Ability to make complex, quick-turn decisions to ULA requirements and testparametersSelf-motivated to manage and close on assignments, testing, and vendorexecutionExperience with communicating with customers, vendors, and chief engineersAvailable to travel if required

Summary Salary Range (Colorado Only)$85,549 - $133,586
