Oneida Technical Solutions, LLC (OTS) has a rich history of providing IT support and associated services in highly complex, highly regulated, highly secure environments, including the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), law enforcement, health care, retail, and the casino gaming industry. 　　We are currently seeking an AV Programmer for a long-term contract slated to start in early 2024.

　　This role is remote but will require 3 months of travel to our corporate headquarters in Central NY and 2 months of travel to Kuwait.

　　This role will begin in August 2024-February 2025 and then again from August of 2025-January 2026

　　The Audio Visual (AV) Programmer will program AV control systems for a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Air Operations Center (AOC) program.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Design and program control systems according to system requirements.

　　Ensure that all required functionality is programmed into the system.

　　Work with Graphic Designer to create a customized, aesthetically pleasing and functional system GUI.

　　Program control system and control system GUI.

　　Program and integrate touch panels into system.

　　Meet key project deadlines to ensure project schedule is maintained.

　　Maintain and update source code.

　　Troubleshoot AV system issues and debug control system.

　　Participate in project meetings, Technical Interchange Meetings, etc., as required.

　　Work with Technical Writers and Sr. Training Developer/Instructors to develop step-by-step instructions for Quick Reference Guides, as well as develop Operator, Maintainer, and Administrator training material.

　　Work with vendors on product integration.

　　Support system integration and test in lab environment CONUS and on-site OCONUS.

　　Perform other duties as assigned.

　　Requirements:

　　Active Secret security clearance.

　　Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.

　　Willing and able to travel up to 100% CONUS and OCONUS, including up to three consecutive months in Oneida, NY, and two consecutive months in the Middle East in support of integration and test activities.

　　Minimum five (5) years of experience supporting DoD/Military programs.

　　Experience with programming Audio Visual control systems for the US Air Force.

　　Experience in AV systems for Operations/Command Centers strongly preferred.

　　Certified Extron programmer.

　　Proficient in Extron Global Configurator Pro.

　　Certified Crestron/AMX programmer preferred.

　　Experience working with systems such as Extron, Crestron, Biamp, AMX, Cisco, Planar, etc.

　　Experience in other programming languages, such as C#, C++, JavaScript, Python preferred.

　　Cisco CCNA or equivalent industry certification preferred.

　　On-site troubleshooting experience.

　　Experience working OCONUS required. Experience working in the Middle East preferred.

　　Expertise in MS Office applications.

　　Strong technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

　　Experience working in a cross-functional team made up of other engineers and technical experts.

　　Strong written and verbal communication skills.

　　Detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

　　Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

　　Must be flexible and able to adjust to integration conditions and environmental factors on-site.
