JOB REQUIREMENTS: QPS Employment Group has a great Automotive Painterposition available at a company in Sturtevant, WI. This is a 2nd shiftposition with the opportunity for hire. Automotive PainterResponsibilities include but are not limited to: - Details completedunits by touching up needed areas. - Completes the layout for stripesand graphics and makes the application. - Inspects parts and machinesfor their conformance to prep standards before painting. - Paints partsincluding, but not limited to, frames and lower portions of finishedassemblies with consistent high quality according to the paintspecification sheets. - Operates and maintains paint pumps, spray guns,and other related equipment. - Prepares documentation and checklistsaccurately. - Informs Supervisor or Lead Person of problems encountered,such as material and quality issues. - Safely drives customer\'s trucksin and around the property. - Ensures that the work area is orderly,clean, and safe daily. - Maintains company\'s high standards ofquality. - Performs other duties as assigned or directed. *****OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Automotive Painter Requirements: -A working knowledge of spray guns and related equipment. - Wastemanagement training is helpful. - Able to pass a pulmonary function test(PFT), required for respirator use. - Fluently works with the metricsystem. - High school diploma or GED. - Minimum of one (1) year ofexperience in painting operations. - Power washing experience ispreferred, but not required. - Ability to continuously stand or walk;and the ability to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequently. -Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 70pounds. ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum:[email protected] This position is listed by a private employmentagency.
