The Engineering Intern is responsible for working closely withthe Engineering team on assigned projects so as to enhance the Intern\'sindustry knowledge and career progression with the Company. The idealcandidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft OfficeSuite, AutoCAD/Revit knowledge is preferred, basic knowledge of theNational Electric Code (NEC) is preferred, Knowledge of electricalterminology and components is preferred, and knowledge of theInternational Energy Code (IEC) is preferred. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSEducation: Enrolled in an accredited institution and actively workingtoward a Bachelor\'s Degree in Electrical Engineering, or ArchitecturalEngineering with an Electrical emphasis Travel: 5-10% Work Schedule:This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday.Ability to work a flexible schedule is necessary. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES* Assists with performing detailed calculations to compute andestablish construction standards and specifications. * Assist withpreparing and studying technical drawings, as well as electricalspecifications, to ensure that installations and designs conform tostandards and customer requirements. * Assists with planning the layoutof electrical construction projects. * Participates in field surveysand studies diagrams and other data to identify and correct power systemproblems. * Operates computer-assisted engineering and design softwareand equipment to perform engineering tasks. * Performs other relatedduties as required and assigned.
