Description:

　　Actalent is currently hiring for an AutoCAD Drafter to support a local Restaurant design firm in Columbus, OH and as the AutoCAD Drafter you will primarily do floor plans, fit-out/layout drawings, and mechanical drawings for restaurants. The drawings will be shared with the client (which is the restaurant) and the architecture firm that is partnered on the project.

　　You will primarily use AutoCAD to create any elevations, floor plans, layout drawings, fit-out drawings, and mechanical drawings. Initially you will receive an already created drawings from a previous project and create minor adjustments to it for the client. Once integrated into the design firm and are more familiar with their standards & procedures, you will receive a blank space with an initial concept of the restaurant kitchen or dining area then you will be responsible for completing the rest of the project.

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　+2 year of experience drafting within AutoCAD for architectural drawings

　　Understanding of how to do restaurant kitchen design

　　Basic architectural knowledge including sheet set up, walls/doors, electrical symbols, plumbing symbols

　　Ability to read architectural drawings and scale printed drawings
