JOB REQUIREMENTS: POSITION SUMMARY Matthews Tire is looking forexperienced Auto Mechanics in Menasha & Waupaca to diagnostic analysisof customer vehicles. Performs repairs authorized by the customer usingcorrect procedures in a timely manner. ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILTIES Completes inspection checklists on automobiles. Sharesresults with Service Manager. Tests and examines automotive vehicles todetermine repairs required utilizing diagnostic tools. Visually inspectsvehicles. Test drives vehicles to listen for sounds to determinemalfunctions. Recommends required repairs to Service Manager. Performsmore complex vehicle repairs and maintenance. May test drive vehicles toensure repairs completed effectively. Unloads and organizes tire andsupply shipments. Utilizes company vehicle to shuttle customers or pickup/drop off supplies. Participate in on-going technical and educationaltraining. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Serves as mentor to GeneralService associates. QUALIFICATIONS Positive attitude. Advanced knowledgeof vehicle service and repair. Computer aptitude. Proficiency utilizingdiagnostic tools.
