DescriptionPosition SummaryProvides a continuum of Audiology services that include the prevention, identification, diagnosis, consultation and treatment of patients with hearing or communication impairments. May participate in the implementation of the infant hearing screening and assessment program at UHCMC, program development, student preceptor ship and other advanced Audiologists duties.Essential FunctionsPatient evaluation, interpretation of findings, and management (55%).Patient treatment (25%).Documentation (5%).Equipment use and maintenance (5%).Advanced Audiologist duties (10%).Required For All JobsPerforms other duties as assigned.Complies with all policies and standards.For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
