Description We are providing an exciting opportunity for a proficient Attorney/Lawyer, ideally with a focus on Family Law, to join our team in Bethesda, Maryland. In this role, you will be responsible for managing assigned legal cases, maintaining accurate case files and records, and assisting other team members as needed. This position is office-based.

Responsibilities:

• Take charge of assigned family law cases, including all related tasks from drafting motions to conducting depositions and discovery.

• Negotiate effectively with opposing counsel to achieve desired outcomes.

• Make regular court appearances to represent clients and support senior attorneys on their caseload.

• Ensure all case files and records are accurately maintained and organized for easy access and review.

• Assist other staff members with general administrative tasks as needed.

• Handle complex civil litigation cases and manage complaint handling processes.

• Utilize case management software to efficiently manage all cases and documents.

• Prepare for and conduct jury trials, ensuring all necessary briefing is done accurately and timely. Requirements • Possess at least 1 year of experience as a practicing Attorney or Lawyer

• Proficient in using Case Management Software

• Demonstrated skills in Document Management

• Experience in preparing and delivering briefings

• Proven knowledge and experience in Civil Litigation

• Skilled in Complaint Handling

• Specialized knowledge in Family Law

• Experience in making Court Appearances

• Familiarity with conducting Depositions

• Experience in handling Jury Trials
