　　Job Description

　　MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:EXPERIENCE:1. Ability to maintain/update the computer competencies as required.

　　PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:1. High school diploma or equivalent (GED)EXPERIENCE:1. Food Service experience.

　　Prepares and cooks foods for patients, employees and catering functions, including measuring and mixing ingredients, adjusting thermostats, monitoring food at all levels, etc.Participates in the assembly and service of patient and non-patient meals, including stocking and serving the patient tray lines, taking food temperatures, preparing and serving in cafeteria and special functions, etc.Cleans and sanitizes dishes and pots.Operates and maintains cash register. Ensures that register skips balance.Sets up and replenishes salad bar. Maintains cleanliness for cafeteria.Provides patient service related clerical duties.Assists in cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas.Verbalizes the specific ages of patients served within the Hospital and can make application when necessary.Performs other duties as assigned.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
