　　MillerKnoll Retail is looking for an Associate Video Editor to support our family of brands. Ideally this individual is based in Stamford, CT | New York City Metropolitan area. Successful candidates will be self-starters, strong communicators, very detail-oriented, and have a passion for video production with a portfolio demonstrating technical proficiency. The Associate Video Editor will be responsible for metrics related to asset quality and production, partnering closely with Senior Videographer, Art Directors, Asset Managers, Producers, and cross-functional teams to ensure the highest technical standards are maintained. The incumbent will bring efficiency and innovation to a high-volume video workflow.

　　Responsibilities:EditEdit high-quality short-form video projectsManage Video workflow in partnership with Senior Videographer by: supporting video asset management best practices, adhering to standards for quality optimization, instituting post-production workflows, performing quality checks, building templates, etc.Cut raw footage handed off by in-house or external shooters to final asset stageApply basic text treatments, bugs, logos ect., including versioning existing assets for various end uses and regional implementationsEnsure imaging standards are maintained and provide guidance to external freelance editors as neededUnderstand and oversee video codecs, raw video files, exporting, and compression techniques, ensuring the correct delivery of assets at required aspect ratio, specifications, and placement.ColorColor and grade assets for final delivery, including work on assets that have been pre-edited and packaged by Senior Videographer

　　Basic Qualifications:Editing portfolio or video reel required for considerationExperience in DaVinci Resolve a plusProfessional experience as a video editor/technician, retoucher, photo assistant, digital technician, in a commercial studioStrong understanding of color profile management policies and best practicesProficiency with Windows and Mac OSDemonstrates strong written and oral communicationExperience with digital asset and file management and standardsAbility to be on set and assist with product shoots on an as needed basisProven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlinesAbility to learn and master proprietary internal tools
