Description:
With guidance, is responsible for maintaining a comprehensive understanding of Diamond Green Diesel’s feedstock supply chain and inventory management processes, by scheduling/overseeing global and domestic supply chain for renewable feedstocks/products. This includes scheduling deliveries via barges, pipelines, and other distribution methods, issuing movement orders, and maintaining inventory positions for assigned areas by balancing market demand and sales with available supply.
Manages (with guidance) rail/truck shipments coming to DGD facility.Serves as principle contact to the KCS rail line and feedstock producers’ operations teams.Sends in daily orders to KCS line.Works with the Commercial Manager to ensure feedstock logistics/intake process is efficient and sufficient for DGD’s needs.Works with Transportation team to help resolve shipping problems and expedite orders when there are delays or delivery issues.Ensures DGD receives appropriate shipping documentation (Certificates of Analysis, bills of lading, etc.).Tracks railcars daily to confirm product is moving efficiently per DGD needs.Creates and passes on clear unloading orders to Rail Unloaders that include steam and unloading priorities.Assists with management of truck traffic / unloading in DGD facilities.Coordinates with feedstock producers and rail logistics on any transport equipment issues.Inputs rail/truck orders to company SAP/MTS systems.Assists in feedstock procurement as needed.Ensures regulatory compliance by overseeing documentation requirements for the feedstocks/products received/shipped out of DGD facilitiesOversees trade compliance, including maintaining customs documentation and other relevant sustainability/traceability documentation requirements for renewable fuels salesIdentifies and implements process improvements and documentation to support the growing renewables business. Provides insight and recommendations to supply chain teams to optimize logistics costsProvides support and information for compliance/regulatory audits. Maintains proper documentation to support quarter and year-end audit requests.Participates in special projects identified by manager, operations team, and traders.Functions as the liaison between, customer, supplier, and various intercompany departments.Manages multiple office spreadsheets and online databases by regularly updating content and communicating changes to stakeholders.Reviews, processes, analyzes, and tracks contract confirmations, revisions and/or amendments for the assigned commercial team(s)/group(s).Tracks third-party invoices received to ensure all payments are processed accordingly.Troubleshoots pricing discrepancies through system analysis and coordination with Logistics and Commercial. Works with third party vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies.This position is salaried exempt status, which means you are not eligible for overtime pay.
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED required. * Basic skill in using Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Word and Excel) required. * No experience required. * Bachelor’s or higher level degree - in industrial distribution, energy management, management, business, finance, accounting, math, marine, science, or engineering preferred. * One year of logistics and/or data entry experience preferred.
