Position: Associate Product Manager

　　Dept: Merchandising Reports to: SR. Product Manager EEO Group: Professional

　　Summary of Responsibilities:

　　Support the development and execution of the company merchandising strategy. Build familiarity, skills and knowledge to fully support all functions of merchandising. As directed by the Senior Product Manager, partner with Product Managers to handle projects and assist with tasks.

　　Primary Duties:

　　Work with purchasing to obtain all materials to set-up new items (new item forms, images, samples and other support materials from suppliers) as requested by Merchandising Managers.

　　New Photography - At the direction of the Senior Product Manager work with creative team to create new images or items as needed. Add items and descriptions of required photos to the photo list. Order samples and put them in the photo studio. Communicate with sales / marketplace teams when new photos are completed and available for use.

　　Proof catalog for correct content (images, copy and prices).

　　Review item presentations on the web and offer suggestions for improvements. Follow up on approved suggestions with appropriate departments to implement improvements.

　　Make knowledgeable product recommendations to internal and external customers.

　　Support the development of new and innovative proprietary products from start to introduction including written instructions and some short videos when applicable.

　　Ability to work independently to manage and prioritize multiple projects within assigned deadlines.

　　Help provide the necessary information, support and training to all internal functions including Creative, Sales and Marketing to maximize marketing and product effectiveness.

　　Review product samples (new or existing) to determine if they are suitable for our customers and or meet expectations based on our product descriptions.

　　Special projects as assigned by a Co-President.

　　Qualifications:

　　Associates degree or higher preferred, equivalent work experience may be substituted.

　　Some experience in merchandising or product management desirable.

　　Attention to details alone with strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills; sound judgment.

　　Office 365 proficient; Must have strong analytical skills

　　Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to maintain good working relationships.

　　Artistic ability, craft hobbies and experience using Adobe Creative Suite software desirable.
