The Role in Brief:
Associate Director, Product (Content) Marketing (Seramount)
Seramount is looking for a B2B product marketer who can serve as a strategic leader for the product marketing team. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert on our products, customer base, and market landscape to connect Seramount’s growing portfolio of solutions to the needs our buyers.
You will partner cross-functionally with sales, product, researchers, clients, digital, and creative teams to shape a high-performing content strategy that drives demand, increases brand awareness, and continuously evolves to address new insights and socio-economic/news-cycle trends.
The ideal candidate has a combination of creative vision, market insight, and analytical skills and can connect the dots to create compelling collateral and campaigns.
This hire is expected to be appointed with an official business title of ‘Associate Director, Product Marketing’ to align with EAB business norms. The position may be based in Washington, D.C.; Richmond, VA; or is open to remote employment within the continental United States.
Primary Responsibilities:
Craft engaging, high-quality marketing collateral including slides, blogs, infographics, webinars, and case studies across multiple channels, including email, web copy, events and conferences, presentation decks, etc.
Present ideas and strategies to both internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives
Develop deep understanding of target enterprise buyer (HR and DEI professionals) and create audience personas based on insights from audits and primary and secondary research
Conduct content and competitor audits to identify market trends and develop insights to inform strategies and content innovation
Partner with sales to create effective sales enablement tools (pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, event agendas) that bring competitive differentiators to life and communicate product value
Use performance metrics to continually refine content strategies, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation in partnership with digital and demand generation teams
Manage and coach a small team of product marketers
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably within enterprise/B2B environment (product marketing, content strategy, communications, sales, research)
Strong communicator; great at analyzing information and extracting relevant insights in order to tailor messages and collateral accordingly
Skilled writer who is able to clearly and precisely express complex ideas in written and graphical form and able to adapt language, format, and style for various media and audiences
Ability to take ownership and drive projects from beginning to end

Compensation:
The anticipated starting salary range for this role is $65,000 - $100,000 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include but not be limited to relevant experience, skills, and location. At EAB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the starting salary range for their role.
This hire will additionally be eligible for discretionary bonus or incentive compensation. Variable compensation may depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
