The Systems Engineering Division (SED) provides unmatched experience insystems engineering to the U.S. government and to numerous public and privateagencies, universities, nonprofit organizations, consortia, andcommercial companies involved in the advanced application of space technology.From systems architecture development to system analysis and optimization,astrodynamics, orbital debris, navigation, failure analysis, missionassurance, cost and schedule assessment, and economic market analysis,SED exploits an incredibly broad array of engineering and business disciplinesagainst a diverse and dynamic portfolio of programs and national challenges.
The Agile Systems Engineering, Planning and Analysis (ASEPA) Departmentconcentrates on delivering strategic planning, pre-acquisition, andsystems engineering planning expertise and products to form a sound basis forspace, ground, launch, and airborne system program acquisition lifecycleactivities for the United States Space Force (USSF), Department ofEnergy (DOE), National Aeronautics and Space Administration(NASA), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA),Intelligence Community (IC) and other organizations.
As theAssociateDirector, ASEPA Department, you provide leadership,planning and guidance to a high performing team.You work cooperatively withthe ASEPA Director in supervising the operations and staffing of thedepartment and in shaping its future. This position enables a hybrid workschedule which requires at least 4 days per week in an office depending oncustomer needs and requirements.

What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements:
Master's degreein engineering, mathematics, physical sciences, orrelated technical discipline
Customer-facing experience in Strategic Planning, Acquisition and/orSystems Engineering
12 years of relative and progressive experience in space systems
Familiarity with systems engineering activities, to include systemrequirements and concept of operations development, risk and opportunityidentification, integration and verification planning and execution
