A successful colleague will alsodemonstrate capabilities to build innovative solutions for our clients.Additional responsibilities:Build and maintain detailed knowledge of insurance marketplace, products andservices, developing productive business relationships with key insuranceunderwritersBuild and maintain effective working relationships with appropriate externalclient contacts and other internal Aon colleaguesProvide effective responses on a timely basis. Do so in consultation with asenior team member where appropriate.Facilitate the compilation of submission information in conjunction withappropriate external client contacts and internal Aon clientsLearn and understand all elements of client presentations and develop skillset in development of basic presentations / presentation sections includingtechnical writing.Develop verbal presentation skills.How this opportunity is differentAs an Associate Broker, you will be supporting a team of brokers tostrategize and solve for client's management liability insurance challenges.You will have the opportunity to work directly on an assigned book ofbusiness, develop client and insurer relationships, and collaborate withAon colleagues across the world!Skills and experience that will lead tosuccess1 - 3 years of experience in the insurance industry preferredAdhere to the highest standards of professionalism and ethical behavior in allactivitiesFollow all standard processesDemonstrate effective communication and negotiation skillsReplicate effective products/solutions and develop broking opportunitiesMust have the willingness to acquire an active Property and Casualty licensewithin (6 months or 120 days) days of hire. Your employment is contingentupon obtaining and maintaining the PC license in the required states, asdesignated by Aon. You must successfully complete the required course work andpass the examinations within 120 days of your start date. You will be expectedto pass the examination in no more than three attempts. If you do not passafter your third attempt, your employment with Aon will be terminatedimmediately. In addition, you will complete all required paperwork necessaryin acquiring the license. Aon will be responsible for paying the costsassociated with the coursework and examinations according to the Aon licensingpolicy, for up to three attempts. Failure to meet these requirements willresult in the termination of your employment with the firm.
Education: Bachelor's degree in BA/BS in Finance or Risk Management preferred
