Job Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah. Responsible for performing valuation oversight for securities held in strategies. Review and complete core valuation controls in daily pooled investment vehicles, private funds and institutional accounts. Interact with management and investment professionals engaged in managing portfolios, IT, fund accounting, legal and compliance. Responsible for price verification of positions held in the portfolios including, but not limited to equities, MBS, ABS, emerging market debt, corporate bonds, investment grade bonds, high yield bonds, and government bonds. Assist in the review and completion of core valuation controls in daily pooled investment vehicles. Assist in the review of Fixed Income Transaction Analysis and ASC 820 Leveling. Regular interaction with other departments: IT, operations, fund accounting, legal and compliance. Preparation of management reports and analysis to assist portfolio management and finance managers in managing and understanding the business.

　　Job Requirements: Master's or Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related field. One (1) year of experience with a Master's degree or three (3) years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in the job offered or in a related role. Must have one (1) of experience with a Master's degree or three (3) years of experience with Bachelor's degree in the following: working in the financial markets and the investment management industry; understanding and application of ASC 820 for Fair Value Measurement Accounting; using valuation methods for various types of securities including bond pricing, equity markets, and OTC derivatives; technical understanding and application of business intelligence tools to perform valuation analysis and reporting including Qlikview and Nprint; working on valuation models and understanding its functionality, including but not limited to Bloomberg; and preparing management reports and analysis to assist portfolio management and finance managers in managing and understanding the business.
