Job Descripton:
The Systems Engineering position is part of a team that will be involved in developing, maintaining, integrating, and managing COMINT and ELINT airborne and ground ISR systems, networks, and system storage devices.
Will be part of a talented team of engineers who collectively demonstrate excellent technical competence, reliability in delivering mission-critical infrastructure, and who continually ensure the highest levels of accessibility, optimization, and security.
This position combines an understanding of both software engineering, hardware engineering, and program management.
Prepare and present technical results for internal and external program meetings
Document and support Infrastructure, Network, & Mission Processor design verification tests within lab, ground and flight test environments.
Develop, track and present technical metrics
Understanding of hardware level interdependencies for Infrastructure, Network, & Mission Processor requirements between multiple devices as well as understanding how software works in conjunction with hardware interdependencies.
Manage requirements in either DOORS or JIRA through all phases of the project.
Reading and interpreting block diagrams, wire diagrams, mechanical drawings and circuit schematics to isolate component malfunctions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
Preferred Skills:
Coursework and/or experience in systems engineering, systems architecture, systems analysis and design, system performance modeling, integration and/or project management, and/or model-based systems engineering
Candidate should understand basic electrical theory, electronics test equipment (digital voltmeter, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF signal generators, RF power meters, network Analyzers, antenna range measurement systems) and their applied use in testing of RF systems and mixed signal products
Desired Technical skills include proficiency with RF hardware test experience including tuners, receivers, antennas, amplifiers, up/down converters, and radomes.
