Description

　　Any Paralegals that live within a commutable distance to the Baltimore City area are encouraged to apply to this Paralegal role. We are in need of ongoing temporary help and encourage any Paralegals who are out of work to move quickly on this role to start ASAP.

　　Candidates with prior paralegal experience will be especially considered, but please apply if you also have prior law firm experience as a Legal Admin or Assistant.

　　Major responsibilities:

　　Legal research pertaining to cases such as statutes, regulations, legal articles, and precedents.

　　Case management including managing and organizing case files, maintaining documentation, and ensuring that all necessary materials are prepared and filed on time.

　　Communicate with clients and other parties via phone and email to gather information.

　　File legal documents with the appropriate courts and agencies.

　　Assist attorneys through all phases of the trial.

　　Requirements

　　Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset

　　Legal files experience

　　Adeptness in interrogatories

　　Strong familiarity with subpoenas

　　Knowledge of legal research

　　Demonstrated knowledge of affidavits

　　Draft Documents experience

　　Should be knowledgeable of word processing and spreadsheets

　　Capability to own projects, writing and negotiating, planning and organizing

　　Attention to detail and accuracy, and discretion
