Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA has a full-time position (40 hours per week) in our assisted living facility, Park Place Estates, for an Assistant Nurse Manager (RN). This position provides direct, professional nursing care for the residents and supervision of staff while assisting the Manager with the operations of the facility. 　　Assistant RN Responsibilities Include:

　　Provide oversight of the resident care being administered by the Resident Companions, check with staff on a daily basis to see if there are any resident issues or concerns. Follow up on any resident issues or concerns communicated by staff.

　　Review the residents’ medication profiles monthly to ensure medication orders are current and medications are administered consistent with such orders.

　　Maintain appropriate documentation of residents’ medical care, health status reports, and delegation to the staff.

　　Assist with the overall operations of the facility.

　　Assistant RN Requirements:

　　Iowa state license as a Registered Nurse or multi-state licensure.

　　Iowa Mandatory Adult Abuse Reporting training required as an employee.

　　BLS Certification.

　　Monday through Friday with some weekend and evening involvement as needed. On-call rotation.
