Assistant Specialist (Psychologist)Full-time
Duties: Provide brief time-limited individual and group counseling services for psychological, academic, and career concerns as well as crisis interventions and urgent drop-in services for university students. Develop and implement mental health outreach activities for students, faculty and staff (e.g., workshops, presentations, skills training and consultation, classroom presentations, information fairs, etc.)
Requirements: PhD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA)-accredited program with current licensure as a Psychologist in at least one state. Three years of post-licensure professional clinical work experience which must include individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, LD/ADHD assessments, and coordinator roles within a university counseling center setting serving both undergraduate and graduate students.
