  Assistant Project Manager

  Fountain Services, LLC is seeking a qualified and experienced assistant project manager for its rapidly growing commercial/industrial electrical contracting operations in North and South Carolina. The position will also include the use of a company vehicle with fuel card.

  Fountain is headquartered in Spindale, NC, with offices also located in Charlotte, Hickory, Asheville, North Carolina, and Greenville, South Carolina. With a total workforce now approaching two hundred, we have been the electrical contractor on commercial and industrial construction jobs spread across the western, piedmont, and metrolina regions of North Carolina, as well as the upstate area of South Carolina.   Minimum Experience Requirements

  Qualified candidates should have 10+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience, including at least 5 years of experience as a foreman, superintendent, and/or assistant project manager. Other relevant experience would include work as an estimator or project engineer.

  Additional Requirements and/or Expectations

  Applicants must possess a High School diploma or GED.

  Applicants must pass a mandatory drug screen and background check.

  Training in an apprenticeship or similar program, or in a trade or technical school is preferred.

  An Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

  Relevant licenses and/or certifications are preferred.

  Applicants should have excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

  Applicants must be able to multi-task and work well under time constraints.

  Job Description and/or Requisite Proficiencies

  Project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and management, to ensure job profitability on multiple projects

  Coordination and communication with customers, general contractors, architects, engineers, and other trades

  Purchasing and materials acquisition, and management/administration of vendor, supplier, and subcontractor contracts

  Manpower planning and allocation

  Read/interpret plans, blueprints, specifications, and/or other construction documents

  Prepare layout drawings

  Handling of RFI’s, Submittals, Purchase Orders, etc.

  Assist and/or coordinate with project estimators and engineers

  Regular visits to multiple jobsites and attendance at project meetings

  Management, oversight, and development of jobsite leadership (foremen/superintendents)

  Overall project QA/QC

  Support and assist Project Managers
