Moore's Electrical Mechanical is now hiring an Assistant Project Manager for our Projects Division in Blacksburg and surrounding areas. Moore's Project Division supports commercial and industrial projects.
Responsibilities:
Attend turnover meetings for all jobs they are assigned to
Help complete job setups, buyouts, and info sheets
Start and maintain submittal logs throughout entire submittal process
Review GC schedule and create/maintain MEP schedule including equipment delivery, schedules, etc.
Type RFI's and assemble info and pricing for change orders
Help highlight drawings, put together As-Builts, and help with internal punch list at job completion
Complete safety checks and enter information in app during job visits
Print and complete job storage sheet while ensuring all items are present for storage
Perform other duties assigned by Department or Project Manager
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering, and/or equivalent field experience in HVAC, Plumbing, or Mechanical Piping preferred
Proficient math and reading skills
Exceptional leadership, customer service, and communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
Ability to work individually with a teamwork mindset
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, email, and internet usage; experience in Bluebeam and Smartsheet a plus
