Maintains strong relationships with clients,designers, consultant, and subcontractors. Assists the Project Managerwith project financials and schedule management while ensuring thehighest quality and safety standards. Creates documentation such as RFIsand client correspondence on issues related to the notificationprovisions in contracts. Reads and understands construction plans anddrawings and the technical specifications associated with drawings.Outlines specifications required for submission to client and ensuressubmittals are approved. Manages design process and relationshipsbetween design and construction to ensure the designer delivers quality,budget conscious, and completes documents on schedule. Creates andvalidates financial forecasts of costs for upcoming activities andprojects. Partners with preconstruction group to plan the project forsuccess including procurement, logistics planning, scope reviews,budgeting and costing. Analyzes client needs and applies marketknowledge to determine business growth opportunities. Develops andoversees the implementation of strategies and action plans to target andpursue additional business with existing clients and new businessopportunities. Works to achieve operational targets with significantimpact on departmental results. Establishes operational plans withmeasurable contribution towards the achievement of results of the jobfunction with focus on short term operational plans. Responsible formaking moderate to significant improvements of processes, systems, orproducts to enhance performance of job area. Communicates with partieswithin and outside of job function as well as with parties external tothe organization. Influences parties within and outside of the jobfunction at an operational level regarding policies, procedures, andpractices. Responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and training toother employees within the job area. Manages projects, requiringresponsibility for delegation of work and review of others work product.Explains policies, practices, and procedures of the job area to otherswithin the organization. Manages a small to mid-sized team consisting ofexperienced professionals. Leads, directs, and reviews the work of ateam who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments. Musthave Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Architecture,Engineering, or related. Work or educational background must includedemonstrated experience with the following: Utilizing experience withproject/construction management on major facilities/base buildconstruction projects; Utilizing experience in contract management,schedule and budget development and management, change control, andconstruction means and methods; Utilizing Cost/Project Managementplatforms including Procore; and Implementing, maintaining, andadministering document management and controls.
