PostedOctober 18, 2022The Communication Sciences Program within the Department of Psychological Sciences at Case Western Reserve University is seeking applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor to begin AY 2023-2024. The department has a PhD program in communication sciences, a CAA accredited master's program in communication sciences (speech-language pathology), and a strong, diverse, and vibrant undergraduate program. Our PhD, MA, and BA graduates have a strong history of attaining tenure-track faculty positions, clinical faculty positions, and research director positions, have secured nationally competitive clinical fellowship placements, and are consistently admitted into top graduate programs for SLP and audiology, respectively. In 2022, our NSSLHA chapter received Chapter of the Year from National NSSHLA. In addition, the department has both an APA accredited Ph.D. program in clinical psychology, a PhD and master's program in Developmental, Cognitive, and Affective Sciences (DCAS), and an undergraduate program in psychology. The requested area of expertise in speech language pathology is open. Candidates whose work bridges into one or more of our other program areas - Clinical Psychology and the DCAS program - are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates will be evaluated on their potential to establish a prominent, externally funded research program and to excel in teaching and mentoring at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.
