Columbia University Irving Medical Center, one of the nation's foremost academic health science centers working together with one of the nation's premier health systems, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital outpatient and inpatient sessions, with inpatient service in rotation (7-9 weeks of evening and weekend coverage per year).Supervision and teaching of medical students, residents, clinical fellowsParticipation in weekly clinical and research conferences as schedule permits.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a MD or DO degree and an active NYS Medical LicenseMust be Board certification in Pediatric Endocrinology.Consistently strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and sustain effective working relationships with professionals in other disciplines.The ability to create a high-energy results-oriented work environment that encourages colleagues and staff to value each other's contributions.The ability to share and celebrate success with colleagues and staff.
