Advanced oncology certification in at least one of the following areas:AOCNS; AOCN; AOCNP.Job SummaryThe University of Kentucky, College of Nursing is seeking a Regular Title Series (tenure eligible)Assistant Professor. This position is a 12-month appointment with an anticipated Distribution of Effort of about 20-30% Teaching and Advising, 50-60% Research and Scholarly Activity, and 10-20% Service and Professional Development which will be reviewed annually. We anticipate a start date on or after February 1, 2024.This position, based in Lexington, KY, and will require an individual with an expertise to provide teaching, advising, research and service missions for the College and University related to (a) teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, (b) taking an active role in mentoring students © scholarship by development of an independent and nationally recognized program of research in oncology nursing science, and (d) service to the college, and the university,(e) service to the discipline of nursing through the development of clinical scholars, including nurses at the Markey Cancer Center. Collaboration with UK Healthcare providers, administrators and staff is required.
