Candidates are being sought in the areas of applied communication systems and signal processing, autonomous systems, quantum computing, circuit design, and applications of machine learning. Other related areas will also be considered.

　　The Electrical Engineering Department currently has 9 tenured/tenure track faculty members, 1 teaching faculty and 2 research professors. The department offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering accredited by ABET, a Master of Science degree, a Master of Engineering degree, and a PhD degree in Engineering and Applied Science. We maintain excellent teaching and research programs in embedded systems communications, VLSI, controls, machine learning, power and energy systems, neuro-engineering, quantum computing, and electromagnetics.The College of Engineering, Design and Computing takes pride in having a faculty of excellent scholars and engineering practitioners. The college values innovation, creativity and an interdisciplinary approach to engineering and research. We focus on providing our students with a comprehensive engineering education at the undergraduate, graduate and professional level.
