Applicants should have a PhD and/or MD with extensive experience that complement existing department strengths on the broad range of cancer cell signaling, epigenetics, metabolism or DNA repair. Competitive start-up funds and faculty salary will be provided, commensurate with level of experience. In addition, wet laboratory space will be provided in the new, open-format, Healthy Kentucky Research Building (HKRB), which houses the majority of cancer basic researchers and is in close proximity to state-of-the-art research cores. A start date as early as January 1, 2024 is anticipated.The Markey Cancer Center is an NCI-designated Cancer Center on the medical campus of the University of Kentucky.
