　　Unit Highlights

　　The AdventHealth Winter Park Medical PCU West is a 25 bed unit that delivers specialized nursing care for critically ill patients.

　　We are a unit that cares for a diverse range of critical disease processes including acute coronary syndromes, congestive heart failure, pneumonia, renal diseases and more. Every shift is different than the last which creates a constant learning environment.

　　There are daily Multi-Disciplinary Rounds between the nurse, charge nurse, physician, case manager, dietician and pharmacist to ensure that we provide efficient and safe care for our patients.

　　On Medical PCU we have a phenomenal team work ethic that encourages learning and positivity. Providing high level clinical care and creating an exceptional patient experience is our goal.

　　The community you’ll be caring for:

　　Winter Park Memorial Hospital has continuously served the residents of Winter Park and its surrounding communities for more than 50 years

　　Chartered in 1951, the hospital has grown from the visionary efforts of a handful of Winter Park residents and community leaders, to a 307-bed acute care facility that is a model of community health and wellness

　　Over the years the hospital has continually expanded to meet the needs of the community, adding an upscale obstetrics and Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at The Dr. P. Phillips Baby Place, cancer care at the AdventHealth Cancer Institute, Winter Park, and state-of-the-art surgery, recovery and rehabilitation at the AdventHealth Orthopaedic Institute

　　This role will include Leader rounding, quality metrics assessments, department scheduling, leader unit coverage, staff compliance assessments / Chart reviews / Workgroups / Participation in development and implementation of organizational initiatives / Staff Accountability and Validation / Duties as assigned by Senior Nurse Manager.

　　The role you’ll contribute:

　　The ANM is a registered professional nurse who supports the Nurse Manager or Director in overall operations of their assigned unit. Is able to demonstrate critical thinking skills, creativity, and has the knowledge to manage resources to achieve quality performance, positive employee relations, and compliance with hospital guidelines. The ANM is skilled in coaching, mentoring, and leading a professional and technical team in the delivery of services to our patient population. The ANM assures quality of care is delivered to our patients and demonstrates effective stewardship of scarce resources. Is supportive of change activities on their unit and works to assure implementation of change that may occur. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

　　* Terms: 24 month Employment Contract Required for Sign-On and Relocation

　　Sign-on Eligibility:

　　Applicable experience required.

　　Internal Candidates and Rehires within 12 months are not eligible.

　　Relocation Eligibility:

　　Must live 50 miles outside of campus address.Qualifications

　　The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

　　Minimum qualifications :

　　Associate’s degree or Diploma in Nursing

　　Specific experience as delineated by the unit of employment

　　Current valid State of Florida or multistate license as a Registered Nurse

　　Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

　　Advanced Life Support Certifications (ACLS) per specialty/unit requirements

　　EKG competency

　　Preferred qualifications:

　　Bachelor’s degree of Nursing (BSN) or Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN)

　　Professional Certification
