　　BASF Zhanjiang Verbund site would be BASF’s largest investment with up to US$10 billion upon completion and would be operated under the sole responsibility of BASF. The site would ultimately be the third-largest BASF site worldwide. The new smart Verbund site will include a steam cracker with a capacity of 1 million metric tons of ethylene per year and downstream plants for consumer-oriented products. By utilizing the latest digital technologies and applying the highest safety standards, the site will be built into a role model for smart manufacturing and sustainable production.

　　Main tasks

　　• Support the creation of an end-to-end logistics process concept that enables a perfectly synchronized material and information flow.

　　• Provide an IT landscape concept with best-in-class IT solutions and digitalization in the area of container yard management.

　　• Responsible for digital concept and process design.

　　• Gather requirements from Technology Manager Operations.

　　• Lead the topic discussions, organizes exchange with internal & external partners.

　　• Forums and Communities: Involvement in all Bex-relevant forums and communities. Contact person for all warehouse management digital relevant topics.

　　• Lead the implementation for the applications from business side.

　　• Process consulting for business units and / or logistics facilities on an operational level. Ensure requirements and processes are implemented according to the requirements.

　　• Align interfaces within SLO and with ODs.

　　• Support Functional Test. Conduct UAT. Support Go-Live and After Go-Live Support.

　　• Provide training to key users for relevant topics.

　　• Coordinate training activities for internal and external resources.

　　• Lead or support training material and document creation.

　　• 1st Level Support for major issues including hardware and interfaces.

　　• Coordinate support with 3rd parties and IT organization.

　　• Ensure implementation of system upgrades.

　　• Gather requirements from continues improving.

　　• Drive and lead implementation of improvement projects and change requests.

　　• Ensure seamless data flow between harmonized site logistics solutions and related horizontal business processes.

　　• Responsible for set-up / coordination / administration of SharePoint, data storage and common drives for office management.

　　• Responsible for user / role administration for all applied systems.

　　• Responsible for the maintenance of the master data (Storage location, Hazard table, Messages etc.).

　　What we expect

　　• Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science, business administration, industrial engineering, information technology or supply chain.

　　• 3-5 years of professional experience in the area of digital logistics processes.

　　• Strategic thinker, Strong analytical skills, high communication skills, strong leadership, intercultural, interpersonal and project management skills.

　　• Well-founded knowledge in supply chain and site logistics.

　　• Good documentation and organization skills, attention to detail.

　　• Hands-on implement full life-cycle of logistic software project experience.

　　• Top brand WMS knowledge, e.g. SAP EWM, Manhattan, JDA, FLUS.

　　• Expert knowledge in the process & IT environment in the areas of warehouse management and/or container yard management.

　　• Experience on interface with 3rd party systems, like MES, ERP, TMS.

　　• Familiar with IT devices and IT architecture, like RF, printer, WIFI, switch, and servers.

　　• IT software: Basic knowledge and affinity for the usage of IT systems. C/C++, java, SQL is a plus.

　　• fluent in English and able to work in an intercultural environment.
