Job Summary:
Work in research administration to review and submit grant proposals and in research development to support teams crafting proposals with writing, editing, and searching for funding opportunities.
Duties/Physical Demands:
Research Development:Assist associate director and director of proposal development in providing the following support to grant proposal development teams:? write non-technical sections of proposals? edit and proofread proposals, including technical content? develop, format, and review supporting materials? identify funding opportunitiesResearch Administration:Assist principal investigators with various aspects of grant proposal planning, preparation, andsubmission of external grant proposals, including the following:? develop budgets? initiate and review Cayuse records for internal routing and approval? enter budgets into Cayuse SP as well as sponsor forms? gather institutional data and other information needed for proposal? complete forms required for proposal submission? participate in the coordination, development and delivery of educational workshops and otherevents
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills;Extreme attention to detail;Very strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills;Ability to multitask and to thrive under deadline pressure.
