　　Job Summary:

　　The Assistant Director assists the Director of Education and Executive Director in overseeing the school, and has a focus on educational programming, As the Assistant Director, you will:

　　Assume responsibility for the daily operations and every aspect of the school in the absence of the Executive Director and Director of Education.

　　Work in conjunction with the Director team to ensure compliance with all licensing/accrediting agencies.

　　Support best practices in curriculum and classroom work under the leadership of the Director of Education.

　　Abide by and enforce all terms of The Malvern School Employee Manual.

　　Produce written work for parents, staff, peers and supervisors that is of above-standard quality in composition, content, and timeliness.

　　Strive to achieve goals in all areas of position to promote the school's and the company's growth and prosperity.

　　Lead or assist in classrooms (as needed) in order to maintain ratios, meet financial goals, and serve as a role model.

　　What we need from you:

　　Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education

　　Two years teaching experience in Early Childhood Education, required

　　Supervisory experience, required

　　Knowledge of NAEYC, preferred

　　Experience writing and reviewing lesson plans, required

　　Experience observing classroom lessons, preferred
