　　Our client, a growing firm in southwest NH, is looking to layer in an Asst. Controller to their team. This role will support the Controller in all things general ledger related, including oversight of 1 staff accountant. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

　　Responsible for all aspects of accounting (accounts receivable, billing, general ledger entries, collections)

　　Responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial processing, month end close, cash

　　management reports, and balance sheet reconciliations

　　Assistance with annual audit and tax return preparations and support.

　　Researching accounting issues for compliance with GAAP

　　Coordinate with revenue operations team weekly in order to ensure accurate revenue reporting

　　File monthly/quarterly/annual taxes in both the US and Canada

　　An above average, almost expert level MS Excel required.

　　Requirements - Significant experience in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

　　Knowledge of billing

　　Journal entries experience

　　Month end closings experience

　　Proven knowledge of cash management

　　Practical knowledge of US GAAP

　　Solid understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR)

　　Well-founded grasp of Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation

　　Quality experience with revenue reporting

　　Foundational knowledge in Adjusting Journal Entries

　　General familiarity with GAAP Accounting

　　CPA an added bonus

　　Sound written and verbal communication skills

　　Proven analytical skills - defining problems, collecting relevant data, drawing valid conclusions, and recommending improvement/corrective actions

　　Previous accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferredAbility to multitask and communicate effectively with individuals of all backgrounds

　　Strong technical background in public accounting (GAAP)

　　Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

　　3+ years of general ledger accounting experience
