Description You will identify issues and resolve problems in this career-building Assistant Controller position. As the Assistant Controller, you will oversee the day to day of the accounting staff and send reports to the Controller. This permanent employment opportunity is based in the Papilion, Nebraska area. 　　Key responsibilities

　　Push accountability and the meeting of deliverables

　　Establish relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook

　　Pinpoint and develop process improvements to streamline reporting and improve team efficiency

　　Progressive preparation and coordination of fiscal year-end audits

　　Consider and form Ad Hoc financial reports

　　Backfill for Controller as appropriate

　　Organize multiple procedures, policies, and technical accounting analyses

　　Help with the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including budgeting and forecasting

　　Sustain implementation and secure adherence to accounting policies and procedures

　　Confirm regular account reconciliation to completion

　　Promote to ensure a competent, trained staff through regular assessment, development, and goal setting

　　Extra assignments if necessary

　　Support the accounting team during the closing process to confirm deadlines are met Requirements - Proficiency in Provide Training

　　Experience with training & development

　　Well-founded grasp of Month-end Reports

　　Wide ranging experience with general ledger

　　Prior experience with External Suppliers

　　Hands-on experience with external reporting

　　Month-end Financial experience preferred

　　Command of US GAAP

　　Good understanding of Annual External Audit

　　Skills in External Financial Reports

　　Previous experience working with external auditing

　　Foundational knowledge in training

　　Comprehension of External Parties

　　Knowledge of Employee Training

　　Earlier work involving General Ledger System

　　Practical knowledge of training development

　　Proven knowledge of Perform Month-end

　　Practical knowledge of Month-end Close Activities

　　Well-founded grasp of Training Work

　　Solid understanding of External Vendor

　　Solid understanding of Internal External Audit

　　Experience with External Relations

　　Proven knowledge of Training software

　　GAAP Accounting experience

　　General familiarity with training development

　　Month-end Close Activities experience

　　General familiarity with Month-end Financial

　　Quality experience with Franchise strategy

　　Month-end Journal Entries experience

　　5+ years of general ledger accounting experience

　　Excellent verbal and written communication skills

　　Accurate knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systemsBachelor's Degree in Accounting

　　Outstanding analytical, quantitative and social skills

　　Prior accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferredAbility to multitask and attention to detail are critical

　　CPA certification a plus

　　Strong technical background in public accounting (GAAP)
